She made four birdies and two bogeys on her way to a second round 70 (-2). She did take on the temptation on the last hole going for the green with her driver over water. The result – Splash!
In the final group tomorrow Celia will be joined by Denmark´s Malene Krölböll Hansen and home player Isabelle Johansson. Isabelle had the second low round of the day with a 68(-4). She was three over par for her round after six holes but after that really got going with seven birdies and no bogeys.
Malene is in second place one shot behind and Isabelle is t3 two shots back. Christine Danielsson from France also is two shots behind and t3. Overnight co-leader Martina Edberg had a one over par round today. She is solo 5th and still in the hunt for the win.
There will be an exciting and interesting last day at this year’s ANNIKA Invitational Europe. Going into the final round there are eight players at or under under par and within five shots from winning the trophy, getting to go to Orlando and to play in the Ladies European Tour event, the Helsingborg Open.
For the second round, the easiest hole was hole 17, a par 5 with an average score of 4.93 while the toughest hole was hole 16, a par 4 with an average score of 4.69.
After play today, it was time for workshops. The players did get to go to three different workshops. Course management and how to play your best held by longtime tour caddie Fanny Sunesson. The next level and road to college golf in USA held by Tommy Tang from the ANNIKA Foundation. Yoga for your body and mind with Petra Jonsson, physiotherapist and yoga instructor, working with the Swedish National Girls´ Team.
US college coaches have found their way to Landskrona GC and the ANNIKA Invitational this week. Those who are here recruiting for their teams are; SMU, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, East Carolina, Morehead St, Coastal Carolina and South Carolina.
First tee time tomorrow is 8:00 a.m and the final group tee off at 9:50 a.m.
