Ava in her ski gear on the slopes

As you may know, skiing is a big hobby of mine. I started when I was very young with my grandmother, Elsa, my father’s mother. I originally learned on cross country skis, and it soon became a family affair. I remember every year our parents taking Lotta and me to the mountains to ski. I can still remember skiing between their legs when I was still too little and lacked the courage to get out there on my own. So needless to say when Ava decided to strap on skis for the first time during our stay in Lake Tahoe over the holidays, I was excited … as you can tell from our proud cheers in the video! We made sure she was all geared up and sent her on her way with the instructors at Northstar California. You can see the videos of her first taste of the slopes below, she’s a natural!
